The event took place on Thursday, September 26th at 3:00 PM. Participation was possible online, with written or phone bids. Prior to the auction, the lots were available for viewing during the exhibition, held from Monday, September 23rd to Wednesday, September 25th from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM.

The catalog also includes several letters from the 1972 series “The Alphabet,” created by some of the most famous artists of the 20th century, including Salvador Dalì, Mario Ceroli, Jean-Michel Folon, Fausto Melotti, Gianni Dova (lots 64 and 65), and Roberto Crippa. You will also find works by Domenico Gnoli, Antonio Possenti, Giosetta Fioroni, and Lucio Del Pezzo.

Noteworthy is Arturo Dazzi‘s plaster sculpture, a model created to commemorate the 1938 football championships, “Flora” by Francesco Messina, a bronze by Pericle Fazzini, and the “Fanciulla” by Paolo Troubetzkoy.

The selection also includes a focus on Bolognese painting, featuring works that provide a glimpse of local painting throughout the 20th century.

Among the lots are classic landscapes by Flavio Bertelli, Guglielmo Pizzirani, Norma Mascellani, and Ilario Rossi. Also included is a modern interpretation by Pirro Cuniberti with “Paesaggio con due triangoli”, an acrylic on cardboard from 1989.

There are also less figurative works, such as those by Mario Nanni, Concetto Pozzati, Lidia Puglioli, and Germano Sartelli.
