Auction results first half 2022

We are pleased to present the results of the auctions for the first half of 2022 and to note that despite the uncertainty that has characterized the last few years, the art market still remains a reference and investment sector for national and international enthusiasts and collectors.

We close the first half of the 2022 auction season with six appointments: the first, entitled “Dimore”, dealt with a collection of old paintings, silver, furnishings and drawings from a private collection. The auction sale ended with an excellent result in particular as regards the ancient paintings:
Lot 97 – Luca Giordano, Sermon by the Baptist. Awarded € 33,480.00
Lot 98 – Francesco Ruschi, Agar and the Angel. Awarded € 18,600.00
Lot 100 – Michele Rocca, San Sebastiano edited by the Pious Women. Awarded € 8,860.00
– Lot 129 – Master of the seventeenth century, Maddalena. Awarded € 6,200.00
– Lot 153 – Gherardo and Giuseppe Poli, Landscape with figures. Awarded € 6,200.00

We also want to remember the excellent results obtained by the Department of Modern and Contemporary Art which made two appointments in April and July.

The proposed selection involved important Italian and international artists including Ottone Rosai, Lucio Fontana, Mario Schifano, Franco Angeli, Anton Zoran Mušič Andy Warhol, Georges Mathieu, Gerard Schneider and many others with the following best awards:
Lot 96 – Ottone Rosai, Olive grove in Monte Ripaldi. Awarded € 13,230.00
– Lot 1 – Lucio Fontana, Spatial concept. Awarded € 4,960.00
– Lot 9 – Mario Schifano, All stars. Awarded € 3,968.00
– Lot 83 – Anton Zoran Mušič Terre. Awarded € 4,340.00
Lot 64 – Andy Warhol, Marilyn Monroe. Awarded € 44,640.00
Lot 14 – Andy Warhol, Moonwalk. Awarded € 27,280.00
Lot 30 – Andy Warhol, Apple. Awarded € 14,880.00
Lot 91 – Georges Mathieu, Composition. Awarded € 6,820.00
– Lot 1 – Gerard Schneider, Composition. Awarded € 8,820.00
